PacSun Website Redesign

This project focuses on a comprehensive website redesign, using the PacSun website as the subject. At the time of evaluation, the existing site features excessive motion, competing visual elements, and a lack of clear hierarchy, all of which detract from the overall user experience.
In response, I approach the redesign with an emphasis on simplification, usability, and visual cohesion. I begin by analyzing the site’s structure and identifying key pain points, such as overwhelming animations, cluttered layouts, and inconsistent navigation. From there, I develop wireframes to reorganize content and establish a clearer information hierarchy, ensuring that users can navigate the site more intuitively.
As the design progresses, I refine the visual language by reducing unnecessary motion, incorporating consistent spacing, and selecting a more restrained color palette. Typography and imagery are carefully considered to create a balanced and modern aesthetic that aligns with the brand while enhancing readability.
The project is developed in Figma, where I iterate through multiple design variations, focusing on both functionality and visual clarity. Overall, the redesign prioritizes a streamlined interface that improves user engagement while maintaining a polished and cohesive look.
