Merrimack College Official Holiday Cards 2024-25 Season

These Christmas cards are designed for Merrimack College’s 2024–2025 holiday season, following a selection by President Hopey. The project adheres closely to the institution’s branding guidelines, ensuring consistency with Merrimack’s established visual identity while introducing a distinctive, seasonal aesthetic.
I begin the process by developing initial concepts and hand-illustrated elements in Procreate, focusing on imagery that reflects both the holiday spirit and the college’s community values. After establishing the illustrations, I transition into Adobe Illustrator to refine the artwork, adjust scale, and finalize the compositions. This stage involves careful attention to vector precision, color consistency, and layout balance.
Throughout the design process, I consider hierarchy, spacing, and typography to ensure each card is both visually engaging and professionally structured. Multiple iterations allow for refinement, ensuring the final designs effectively align with both creative goals and institutional standards.
Photography of the completed cards is provided by Professor Nancy Wynn, contributing to the final presentation of the project. Overall, the work reflects a thoughtful integration of illustration, branding, and production-ready design.
